新機制[]

花在沒配種的情況下,繁殖時會複製自己的個體。

每天新生的花沒有限制數量。

每名玩家幫花澆水可以增加花朵配種的機率,每天最多5名玩家。

花朵有4個生長階段,包含發芽、生枝、花苞、開花。

花只能在開出花苞或開花的階段配種。

在花跑步不會破壞整株植物,但會讓花轉變回花苞的階段。

可以直接摘花來製作道具或販售。

摘花後植物會變回生枝的階段。

可以使用鏟子來移植花朵。

種子購買[]

在Nook商店可購買的種子種類取決於當月的月份。Nook商店每天會販售:

島嶼原生花,島嶼的原生花會在創島時依據島民代表的生日決定。

sister flower,會在創島時依據創島的月份決定。

隨機一種花,依據當前的月份決定。

服務處升級後,商人然然會不定期拜訪玩家的島嶼,販售當季限定花種以外的種子。

島嶼旅行時只會遇到原生花及sister flower。

花的遺傳[]

重點:花朵顏色對決定子代並不重要。真正影響顏色及子代的是花朵的基因。

在集合啦!動物森友會的花朵都遵循現實世界的基因機制。可以藉著現實世界作法-旁氏表來模擬基因的遺傳,了解不同親代決定各種子代的可能性。除了玫瑰的所有花都擁有3組基因,而玫瑰有4種。這些基因決定了花的顏色 which are listed below in ternary notation. To translate to genetic notation, substitute a value of 0

for xx, a 1 for Xx, and a 2 for XX. For example, a rose listed as R1Y0W2B2 would become RryyWWBB. In general, the 'R' gene tends to dictate a flower's Redness, the 'Y' gene tends to dictate a flower's Yellowness, and the 'W' gene, or the lack of 'R' or 'Y' genes, tends to favor Whiter-coloRed flowers. The 'B' gene present in roses tends to favor brighter-coloRed flowers.

Primary flowers retrieved from mystery tours share the same genes as those grown from seeds of the same color. Hybrid flowers retrieved from mystery tours always have the highest possible combination of genes for their color, represented on the tables below as their color's most bottom-right position.

配種方式配置[]

一對花並排的配置不常繁殖,但所有子代保證遺傳自兩個親代,可以用來簡單追蹤基因。

在菱形配置中,即便其中一對配種了,另外兩朵花也能配對。這種排列方式不會產出複製體,但要分辨親代就變得很困難。

將不同花種以菱形配置交織在一起,能有效利用空間。

十字形配置並不是配種的理想排列方式,這樣一天只有一對花能配對。其他花產出的子代都會是複製體。

Advanced hybridization[]

Advanced hybridization requires some tracking of genealogy as multiple generations of flowers must be used. As these require precise awareness of one's flower's genotypes for best odds of success, it is recommended to use flower layouts such as isolated pairs or diamonds which cannot produce clones, versus checkerboards or crosses which may produce clones. Hover over a flower for details on its genotype.
